Our popular Going UP workshop box is for KS2 pupils to explore careers and higher education through a game-based introductory lesson that can be delivered by you in the classroom.
When you request a workshop box, we'll loan you activity plans and the equipment required to deliver the game-based workshop, before picking it up from you afterwards.
Each of your pupils will receive a free workbook to use during the activity and take away with them. All completely free of charge*.
The workshop box includes the following activities:
- The University Big Map Game
- Student House Shuffle
- Investigating Subjects
- When I Grow UP
How does it work?
1. Request a workshop box below
Tell us when you want the workshop box and for how long.
We’ll check availability of the workshop boxes and confirm your request via email.
2. We deliver the box to your school
The workshop box will be delivered to your school during school hours, at least 24 hours after your booking.
3. We collect the box on an agreed date
Complete the evaluation postcard from the lid of the box, and leave it in the box for us to collect.
*Please note - we are currently only able to offer the workshop box to primary schools within postcode areas PO1-PO6 and PO12-PO13.
Maximum borrow time is two weeks. Subject to availability.
Please provide the dates you wish to use the box and we'll aim to arrange delivery and collection within 72 hours.
