Careers lesson resources for years 5-6

Explore further and higher education with your pupils

This set of resources will support you in delivering an introductory lesson to year 5–6 pupils about careers, further and higher education.

This session can be delivered in one or two parts, and you can choose which parts to deliver based on the needs of your pupils and the time you have available.

The lesson focuses on the vocabulary, skills and jobs associated with university and future careers. Resources include a lesson plan, presentation and worksheets – available to download below.
