Our experts will be discussing the leading tools your business can harness to elevate its operations. ProfessorSercan Ozcan specialises in Innovation Management and will be discussing text intelligence, social network analysis and machine learning. Dr Huijing Chen specialises in Operations Management, and she will be presenting her findings after working with Walmart, one of the leading retailers in the world.
During the registration process, you will be able to submit questions. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation.
Presenters
Sercan Ozcan is a Professor of Innovation and Technology Management. His research interests lie in the analysis of large-scale data such as patent documents, social media data, and academic publications for innovation management and policy making. Sercan is one of the few experts who has unique research approaches to examine emerging technologies such as blockchain, AI, and nanotechnology, and to generate technology roadmaps, foresights, and patent analytics. He is passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of innovation and technology management, and empowering others with data-driven insights and tools.
Huijing Chen is a Senior Lecturer in Operations Management. She joined the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ in 2013 and has taught undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Operations Management and Business Analytics. Her research expertise lies in modelling seasonal variations in time series demand through cross learning. Her current work is in Machine Learning and its impact for organisations and supply chains.
