...the Clearing team will have your back
Max鈥檚 results were lower than he expected and his first uni choice was not able to offer him a place based on his grades. But help was at hand when Max called our friendly Clearing team.
I was keen to see what was on offer here at Portsmouth so I attended the Clearing Visit Day. It really helped me to familiarise myself with the uni and it was a great way to catch up with other students.
My results were lower than expected, so I knew I had to apply through Clearing to get accepted onto the course I wanted.
When Clearing opened I felt anxious and I was panicking a bit because of my results, but I tried to stay calm and I called the Clearing Hotline. The team was so helpful and they made my Clearing experience a lot easier for me. I was worried that I鈥檇 be rejected or not get the course I was looking for, but the Clearing team really helped guide me through the whole process.
Once I knew I had a place on the course I felt so happy and relieved
I鈥檓 really glad I applied through Clearing. Not only did I get to do the course I wanted but I鈥檝e made many new friends. I鈥檝e gone to lots of fun socials too.
I鈥檇 say to other students in a similar position, although things may look bleak, do not worry! It鈥檚 absolutely understandable that you might feel disappointed if your grades aren鈥檛 as high as you were hoping for, but the Clearing team will have your back. They will make sure you don鈥檛 feel left out and help you to find a course that鈥檚 right for you.
